Santa Muerte Artist Residency
I recently had the opportunity to attend the Santa Muerte Artist Residency at Santa Rosa Arts & Healing in Christina Lake, BC.
This residency was focused on ideas surrounding death and dying. We learned about different death practices and got to speak with a taxidermist, death doula, and funerary home director. We made death masks, deerskin drums, and learned about/practiced rituals from many different cultures.
