In 2022, I organized and managed the Particle + Wave Festival for EMMEDIA Gallery & Production Society which consisted of an exhibition at Emmedia’s gallery space, an opening night with performances in collaboration with TRUCK Contemporary Art, Quickdraw Animation Society and The Bows, a film screening at Contemporary Calgary and finally a shadow bombing tour with local artist Bryan Faubert.
The Particle + Wave Festival is an annual media arts festival held by EMMEDIA which consists of exhibitions, screenings and an audiovisual performance by local, national and international media artists at multiple art venues around Calgary, Alberta.
PARTICLE + WAVE explores the many facets of media arts, including film, audio, video, animation and digital interfaces. The artists included in this exhibition explore topics through the lens of ever-changing technological tools and processes. Their artworks utilize these technologies in amazingly creative ways.
